As I recall (mainly from my broker at the time) the buzz on the $treet the Friday before Black Monday was that the market had already fallen as much as it could that week and Monday would most likely be an up day.

Keep in mind that the European markets have yet to open and the futures tend to rally once that happens. Also even if the market does open 1% lower, whats to stop it from rebounding.

Now may be the best time to take profit before you have none left by 9:30AM
