No. I say (interpretation). How people interpret.
Scataphogus is saying he does not trust African media because he think it is possible they pay them money to say things.
I did not say that.
Racist? Here's the racist:Quote from jficquette:
I think your're being racist by not given credence to Black media people in what they report while sucking down everything the American state run media wants you to believe.

Quote from Scataphagos:
I did not say I don't trust African media. How can you deduce such a thing? How can you possibly survive the trading wars if that's the kind of logic you come up with?
You said, "ask the writers what they meant"... what they mean has absolutely NOTHING to do with proof. And I suggested writers could be influenced with money to say whatever they buyer wants.
Somewhere there is fact which will prove or deny Obama's eligibility. So far, it hasn't been made public.

Quote from trendlover:
The African writer is the media. If you say maybe they take money to say what the buyer want them to say, you not trust them.
Some people in another thread say if Obama is not eligible, Hillary Clinton would find that information before, because she is the pit bull.![]()
Quote from Scataphagos:
So, all of those papers are WRONG when they proudly proclaim Obama as "Kenya born"? All of those papers made that fact up and are lying?
Or, is somebody else lying?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You say this post above Scataphagos.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I respond with this opinion.
"I think it is (interpretation) of "Kenyan-born"
The African writers are saying (born of the Kenyan). That is my opinion. All they know is Barack Obama has the Kenyan father. They probably not even thinking about his birth place, but thinking of root. For a very poor continent of people to see their (blood relation) becoming possible president of the USA, a very rich country, this make them proud."

Then

Your interpretation is not consistent with this..
GraphicGhana.com â âFor Ghana, Obamaâs visit will be a celebration of another milestone in African history as it hosts the first-ever African-American President on this presidential visit to the continent of his birth.â
"CONTINENT OF HIS BIRTH"?....
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------Quote from trendlover:
To prove what the African writers thinking is can be easy. The birthers or lawyers who look for evidence have to interview ALL the writers. Ask them to explain. IF they think Obama is born in Kenya, ask them what is their proof. IF the writers say they mean (his father) when they say "continent of his birth" that will explain. Easy to prove.
Then
QUOTE]Quote from Scataphagos:
1. All had the chance to say, "born of Kenyan father" or "Kenyan ancestry", but none did. Is it colloquial style in Africa to say "African born" when meaning "of African descent, but not born in Africa"? Sounds like a stretch...
2. Do you think it possible those writers and papers might be given some money to say a particular thing? If he really was born in Kenya, then there IS a conspiracy to keep that fact covered up (part of the concern of all Birthers)... so a little more payola in this case would be no big deal to them.
Quote from trendlover:
"... So in one article I can ask "continent of his birth"? is the writer lying to help birther and lawyers?
And I can ask from the same article "Kenya, the land of his paternal ancestors"? is the writer lying to help Obama supporters?
But my(opinion) is the writer say "Kenyan-born" because he thinks of Obamas root, OR maybe the writer (assume) Obama is born in Kenya and never question that or look for proof. The first post in this thread say all the articles come from (before) everyone is thinking about Obama and where he is born. So all the writers are thinking about is the news of someone who has a Kenyan father could possible be the President of USA. That is something to be proud of. And maybe that news will help bring attention to that poor continent. That is my opinion.
Quote from Scataphagos:
There are what, 7 quotes... and ALL of them are in error when they state Obama was "Kenyan born"?
Maybe they were (though unlikely, I think), but it's a BIG deal and it should not be taken for granted that they all meant, "born in American from a Kenyan father"..
"Reasonable doubt" exists....
