Historical Data on S&P and Dow Jones, etc

HI
I was wondering does anyone know which platform is the best for accurate historical data on S&P, Dow Jones and Nasdaq? It needs to go back at least 20 years on the daily.

Also, l need to be able to put my own indicators on if that is possible.

Thanks Sue

Thanks Bob, looking into it, l wanted to try it out first before giving my credit card details, so not sure if thats possible.

Thanks Sue

i believe there is 7 days free trial. try some other providers such as esignal or something. i'm pretty sure they all have some free time to try. you might be even albe to save the data that you are looking for on your pc

Just had a look at the link you sent me, do you know if l can see the maximum amount of data on a daily time frame? It seems to automatically go on a monthly.
Also, can l put my own indicators on this chart?

Thanks so much for you help.

Sue

Also, something l can add my own indicators and also scroll the charts. It seem like the Yahoo chart you can't do these things.

For basic charts try www.stockcharts.com

Other financial portals offer rudimentary charting (MSN Finance, Bloomberg, Reuters, Google Finance etc.)

For more sophistication you can use a dedicated software package and/or data subscription. Plenty have been mentioned here before.

what do you mean by your own indicators? do you mean you going to code\create them ? if you can do that -then it shouldn't be a problem for you to answer on your own questions above.
or pick some of them from whatever list?
