Hillary: We can't hide from hard truths about race....

The real hard truths: Democrats would cease to exist without the 95% Black Vote. That means they have to keep Blacks penned up in ghettos living on the dole. If they got jobs it wouldn't be long before they were Republicans, they already are social conservatives.

A truly masterful job has been done of it. A Black shows up for a job interview, what are you, as an employer, presented with? A person holding a ticket in the Jessie Jackemup lottery and you have to make the payout. All they have to do is find a judge or jury or some shit somewhere to validate that ticket and you have to make the payout. It's brilliant. It makes the Blacks think they are winning the War on Whitey on the one hand and keeps them from becoming employed on the other, at least in the Private Sector. Wouldn't want them to pick up any of those Private Sector attitudes now, would we?

There are some hard truths. Here are a couple which should get under the skin of both sides.
Blacks need to get over the, our ancestors were slaves thing. It was 150 years ago. However, it is more than a little disingenuous to tell them to get over it while waving the Rebel flag and yelling the south will rise again. There are plenty of people who need to "get over it".

Good points. I think it's safe to say, keeping the math in mind, that the vast majority of "blacks" are over slavery, and even over Jim Crow (much more recent). Of course there are a few thousand unemployed young men among them in the hopeless centers of cities who make most of the spectacular headlines and which, if we're not careful, could lead one to believe all the tens of millions of "blacks" are like that. It's helpful to remember that unemployed young men of any skin color are a problem in any society where they are found in large numbers--a problem from antiquity.

I must have missed the proposals for the reintroduction of slavery. The flag is a symbol of Southern culture, not slavery. There are plenty of things that I find annoying or insulting in our society. I'm expected to accept them though. Blacks and liberals get to demand that anything that upsets them has to go.

Of course, our republican leaders are falling all over themselves to surrender on this flag issue.

You're right. I can believe that the majority of blacks are "over it". If that's the case, then we must ask just who are the people who give such a loud and persistent voice to these few? Who are the people who keep beating the drum, day in and day out? Who profits the most? To the OP's point, it's pretty obvious who benefits the most from this constant charade that is being played out every election cycle.

Yeah, if you give them the hard truths they run from the run squealing like nine ender and call you a racist.

Speaking of running squealing, have you seen today's list of people and organizations condemning and abandoning the confederate flag?
