There is a significant difference? Oh wait, you're still under the illusion that there are real elections in this country and a two party system.

People just refuse to learn, from history, from experience and from common sense. I still have some hope left for this country, but less and less the more I talk with random people about this on internet, phone or in person.
 
The only people who will benefit from this legislation will be in the legal community. Lawyers will be having a field day with the suits/countersuits that will be launched due to this litigation. Just watch.

so let me get this straight, this is only supposed to help the most irresponsible borrowers? the ones who can't even pay their bills on time to begin with. those are usually the scummiest borrowers of all. why are they being helped in particular? they probably deserve it least.

if i'm one of these scumbags, and my fico went up over years, i'd intentionally miss a credit card payment to get under the threshold.
 
the economy is similar to a car wreck in slow motion, thats why the markets having a hard time and trend/countertrend gaps and volatility.

The people here can't come to grips with the fact that their George "Free Markets" Bush would announce a price fixing idea, much more suited to China than the US. Is there any other prices Bush will fix before the end of his presidency? I got a "teaser" rate on my cable bill for a year, can he lock me in to that because I don't want it to go up???:confused:

How is she going to freeze the LIBOR index? Most of these ARMs are LIBOR Arms. Sure you can freeze the teaser minimum payment rate but you can't fix an index. These people are going to be in even more trouble b/c they're still going to get neg am..

Countrywide should pay their neg am..
