I think she should resign immediately, then, for incompetence.

But the 'fog of war' is a lame excuse for Obama's lies about what happened.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took responsibility Monday night for any security failures leading up to the consulate attack last month in Libya that killed an the American ambassador, but she seemed to push back against claims of a cover-up, blaming the "fog of war" for the Obama administration's shifting explanations for the attack.

At least we now know who has the leadership qualities in this administration. Say what you will, but the Dem party really screwed up passing on Clinton and nominating the worthless piece of shit we have now.
 
Mad props to Hilary for taking one for the team at a time when they need it most.I cant believe the Clinton's have been so loyal to Obama the last 4 years
 
I know the media are falling all over themselves praising her for "taking responsibility", but what exactly does that term mean if she stays in her job? In modern liberlism, "taking responsibility" is codespeak for "move on and talk about something else."

A more accurate description is "Hillary attempts to shield Obama from blame for foreign policy failures." Obama is not shy about taking credit for stuff he had nothing to do with, like killing osama. Time to step up and take the blame too.

It's already well known that she intends to quit her post at the end of this term so hanging on for a few more weeks is probably best for the transition, especially since EVERYONE knows she covering for the WH. Liberal press won't call for her head, so she's safe for now.

Taking blame doesn't mean much if you haven't done ANYTHING to correct your mistakes.. especially after a month which was spent appeasing the muslim horde and bullshitting your own people instead of doing what needs to be done. This phony cover for obama doesn't make it any more acceptable that four Americans were murdered in service to our country, and as long as the scumbags who did it are still breathing air.. obama, clinton and co. are STILL accountable. Once the job is done (or even underway) then get back to us. Until then, hillary, take your insincere claim and pound it up your nasty ass. Or better yet tell that pussy obama that you won't be the scapegoat for his illusory world view.
 
Rumsfeld also said it was just "not believable" that there was so much confusion between the State Department, the National Security Council, and intelligence community about what happened in Benghazi.

But he added "it is probably credible that the president may not have known, at least for a period of day or so, because he went off to Nevada for a campaign fundraiser" right after the attack.

So, if Hillary takes the blame, that means she really hurt herself for any chances for 2016, right?
