Most of us are traders and we are use to crooked markets and shenanigans. But we always hold that naive dream that the one thing true in our life is our election.
I think the SEC goes too far trying to catch bad guys, but you can't go too far trying to catch voter fraud, even if it doesn't exist.

I am going to explain why this does not work. Cards with magnetic strips have very weak security. It is very easy to make many fraudulent copies of the card (in the same manner that skimmers do to bank cards in the U.S.). It is also easy to create fraudulent cards once the basic magnetic strip "pattern" is understood.
At minimum you would need cards to have a chip with a four digit pin to provide even basic security. Creating all these chipped cards will cost the taxpayers money.
The second issue is that grocery stores are not secure locations. It will be very easy for an individual to walk-in and compromise the voting terminal machines, and then cast improper votes. (Not to mention the cost for all those voting terminals and the argument over which stores they should be placed in).
Let's say I did not want to alter votes, but simply stop votes from occurring. I could walk into a grocery store in a heavily Democratic (or Republican) area and simply disable the machines. They would take a couple days to get a new one and then you could do it again.
The communication is also insecure (even with minor encryption) - any low-level tech guy will be able to tab the line and perform man-in-the-middle manipulation to the votes.
If the plan is to allow internet voting and not actually have voting terminals in stores, then there are plenty of ways to attack internet sites that host the voting -- and bring the entire process to a grinding halt.
I don't think this voting in the stores with a card idea is going to float...

probably not, I am very tech ignorant, but you get the idea. We are still voting like it's 1890. I'll trust my vote at least as much as I trust amazon with my credit card info.
Didn't want to get into tech since I am ignorant, but it should be as easy to vote as it is to buy something on amazon. Time is a different matter. One Day Special Offer? Or good for a whole 30 days? Or for that matter, start voting as soon as they are sworn in.

yes, and it is our job to insure that the ignorant masses that vote for any democrat who promises them "free money" eventually becomes an "outraged voter" who can operate a calculator.
can't make change without lots and lots of voters. And democrats are betting they will always stay stupid. I'm the worlds worst chess player, but I have heard sometimes you have to give up a few pawns to win a game.

You know very well that democrats and the media cover it up. Democrat officials who benefit from vote fraud are highly unlikely to focus attention on it or try to stop it. If vote fraud were not essential to democrats, why do they fight so desperately against common sense measures to ensure ballot integrity? Things like having a valid ID?
Its been shown repeatedly that it is ridiculously easy to cast a fraudulent vote. Most precincts let you waltz in and register with no ID and vote the same day.
This is a scandal, but it is a difficult one to unravel. Republicans seem to want to wish it away, because combatting it means enduring the predictable accusations of racism from the democrat grievance machine.
