The mayors head got put on a pike in a city just south of the mexican border during the drug war a couple years ago, and we didnt see an influx of immigrants so big that we had to create refugee camps, and at that time it was still a balance between adults and children, i.e. Adults bringing their own children, now we are seeing a flood of unaccompnied children the likes of which we have never seen, and you want to blame "violence" in south america?

Is the violence in south america the cause for them suddenly deciding to take 2 steps into the u,s, border and turn themselves in? When do you recall that ever happening?

I also saw an article reporting on the content of Central American reporting on Obama's "invitation", and many papers failed to emphasize that his order only applied to those who arrived before June 2012. So, push and pull factors.

I think that you are creating an argument for the sake of arguing, violence in south america has always existed, and if indeed there are papers around reporting on an "invitation from obama to children" do you not believe that is the result of the argument liberals have made, that cantor was going to sign, whereby they were atleast going to grant amnesty for "Those poor children" who were brought here "UNINTENTIONALLY?"

Unless South Americans are incredibly stupid, and incredibly poor parents they wouldnt ship their own kids off unaccompanied based on a random leaflet they found on the ground, there has to be a concerted effort to convince these people to do this, no mother in the world would send their children off to walk through a desert unaccompanied based on a leaflet.
