Hillary Admits - No Accomplishments at State Dept

Hillary announces her 2016 campaign slogan.

No accomplishments?

I thought the whole deal with her going to South America and getting drunk while secret service agents were out banging prostitutes was a huge accomplishment.

Although she really could have scored points with the feminist if she made the agents pay for the prostitute's contraception.

Hillary is being far too modest. She and Obama have several noteworthy accomplishments on their ledger. Number one, overthrowing the Egyptian government of Hosni Mubarak, a US ally of 30 years who kept a peace with israel despite fervent opposition iwithin Egypt from the muslim brotherhood. That would be the same muslim brotherhood they were thrilled to see take power in an election, and hose ouster they are still angry about.

Second, overthrowing the Libyan government. Libyan dictator Khaddafi was not an ally, but George Bush had frightened him into not being an enemy and actually cooperating with us. Hillary and Obama sent in air power to aid the insurgents, who were largely al qaida-linked militias. Of course, when our own Ambassador was under attack from the very people they had helped, they refused to send in air power or anything else to help.

Perhaps Hillary's biggest triumph was an unintended consequence of the Khaddafi overthrow. As a fornmer security official described it:

"Michael Leiter, former director of the National Counter Terrorism Center and now an NBC News analyst, says Central Africa is brimming with the weapons, a situation made worse when the Libyan arms depots were looted during the 2011 Arab Spring.

"The collapse of Libya has further flooded the market,” said Leiter. "Whether these came from Chad, Nigeria, or Libya is almost irrelevant, as such arms are widely available." " http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/mi...rls-where-boko-haram-gets-its-weapons-n104861

So ironically, those waving hashtags and making sad faces are themselves responsible, albeit indirectly, for arming Boko and numerous other al qaida groups in africa.

Of course, none of this matters to the mainstream media, who have annointed Hillary the greatest Secretary of State in recent memory. Like with Obama's Nobel prize though, just don't ask them to justify it with any actual facts.

a cogent and very concerning analysis.

Luc... your find on that other thread was amazing...

Hillary Clinton isn’t new to the lying game.

The 2016 Democrat presidential hopeful has a long history of lies, cover-ups, obstructions and character assassinations, all for political greed. And she didn’t start down that path with the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attacks.

Jerry Zeifman, an admitted lifelong Democrat, was Hillary Clinton’s supervisor as she worked on the Watergate investigation. Zeifman fired Clinton from the investigation and refused to give her a letter of recommendation for a new position. Zeifman was the counsel and chief of staff of the House Judiciary Committee during the Nixon investigation.

Zeifman explained, describing the reason for the firing and refusal to recommend the 27 year-old Hillary Clinton,”Because she was a liar.” He added, “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer,”

“She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality,” Zeifman said, underscoring her complete disregard for ethics.

Zeifman explained that Hillary Clinton conspired to deny Richard Nixon the right to counsel during the investigation, in order to keep Howard Hunt from testifying about “the goods on nefarious activities in the Kennedy Administration.”

President Obama’s spokesman struggled a bit when asked to identify foreign-policy achievements that former secretary of state Hillary Clinton played a role in accomplishing, first panning the question as a “pop quiz” and then settling on an answer that highlights work in Iraq, even as an al-Qaeda splinter group, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, has invaded the country’s second largest city.

“It feels a little like a pop quiz, but I’ve got a couple ideas,” White House deputy press secretary Josh Earnest said when asked to name the accomplishments, before saying that Obama and Clinton succeeded in “ending the war in Iraq [and] responsibly winding down the war in Afghanistan.” He also cited ”the success of our efforts to dismantle and destroy al-Qaeda core.”

The Iraq answer is a bit awkward for Earnest, though, as extremists have taken control of Mosul, the country’s second city. “The whole of Mosul collapsed today. We’ve fled our homes and neighborhoods, and we’re looking for God’s mercy,” said Mahmoud Al Taie, a dentist, according to the Wall Street Journal. “We are waiting to die.”

Obama failed to secure a status-of-forces agreement with the Iraqi government that would have kept U.S. troops in the country to provide security, but the State Department maintains that “our assistance enables Iraq to combat [ISIS] on the front lines, where hundreds of Iraqi security-force personnel have been killed and injured in that fight this year,” as spokeswoman Jen Psaki put it in a statement Tuesday.

“We are concerned about how the security situation in Mosul has deteriorated so precipitously,” Earnest conceded, moments after touting Iraq.
