Hilary Shelton: (NAACP) Romney is a racist....

Quote from PiggyBank:

So he is pandering then, and still being labeled a racist. ok gotcha. Anyway the reasons behind this assertion are a whole other debate. My main argument, which others have pointed out innumerable times, is that the black leadership in this country is anything but. By keeping racism alive and at the fore front they are doing more harm than good.. what they actually think they are entitled to and why is beyond me. If one side wants to label the other racist because they disagree with special treatment policies like AA, then so be it, I just don't care. A guaranteed long term loser strategy, and harmful to the black community, parts of which already think they are entitled.

think about this, everyone born since like 1970 NEVER experienced slavery OR segregation,
And yet, if we were to be reborn today and somehow had the power to choose our race, "black or white", how many would pick "black"? How many would even dare leave it to chance by flipping a coin?

I wouldn't because my chances of being born into a dysfunctional family would be much higher.

I would want to be raised by white parents.

Come on... this is easy.

in america would you rather be black or white?

we all know its still tougher on black guys in some situations.
(not all - some times they get a bit of boost)

so when a black says he has been screwed... he could have been.

But, all this is not going to fix the systemic problems of a govt which creates incentives for a perpetual underclass. A system which has the majority pay money to the keep blacks down so democrats can get re elected.

that to me is the problem.

That really was a no-brainer, glad to see the honesty on all sides.

Isn't it chaos theory? Small differences in initial conditions lead to vastly different outcomes.

I am sure that is part of it.

When you have incentives to have kids without dads around... you have a system which will produce more poverty, more crime, more prison inmates, ... in short more poor outcomes.

(CBS/AP) WASHINGTON - Wells Fargo Bank (WFC) will pay at least $175 million to settle accusations that it discriminated against African-American and Hispanic borrowers in violation of fair-lending laws, the Justice Department announced Thursday.

Wells Fargo, the nation's largest residential home mortgage originator, allegedly engaged in a pattern or practice of discrimination against qualified African-American and Hispanic borrowers from 2004 through 2009.

this is exactly the trash I'm talking about RCG. How the hell do we know what their criteria was. Maybe they have stats that PROVE loans made to specific ethnic groups are more risky, hence higher rates. These are (were) private institutions. They should be able to loan their money to whoever they please. IF it was a fact that they discriminated solely based on ethnicity, the door would be wide open for competitors to take a piece of their pie. they denied these claims and are paying because they know they will get killed in the court of public opinion and as a business they can't have that, obviously. You are actively seeking racism and finding it where it doesn't exist.

What I wrote in my post stands, whites under like 50 that aren't tired of this shit already, will be. This story is ridiculous to me dude.

Obama's southern strategy:

Obama refuses to show up and speak to the NAACP in an effort to appease the racists, and win the klan vote, Obama is a racist who hates black people......

lol somehow qualified is open to interpretation and I'd be willing to bet the insurance company was merely reflecting the higher default rate .

All else being equal it's probably best to choose the intellectually superior one.
