This is actually a surprisingly good book. Absolutely reccomended

The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham is a must read. You will be introduced to a number of trading strategies after reading this one along with proper guidance regarding when and in what should one invest.

Books by Brent Donnelly:
1. The Art of Currency Trading (2019)
2. Alpha Trader: The Mindset, Methodology and Mathematics of Professional Trading (2021)

Start with book #1, even if you don't trade currencies. The second book Alpha Trader has a lot of new insights, but IMHO its structure is worse. I would change the order of the chapters in it.

I am delighted with these books. The author proves by his example that discretionary traders can survive and even thrive in our era of powerful automatic algorithms.
