Higher taxes does NOT equal higher revenues: PROOF

Quote from Daxtrader:

This is the fucking problem with people like you. When someone advocates for lower taxes, people like you yell "what about the roads and police officers and blah blah?".

People like you fail to see just how much of your tax dollars are spent on total bullshit. Besides, most of the things people don't mind paying taxes for are at the local level and are constitutional.

If I don't pay for someone's food stamps I get thrown in jail. You don't have a problem with that?

Take a deep breath. We all want lower taxes and better, smaller, less obtrusive, more efficient, less expensive government. I'm with you, now we just have to work out the details of how to get there without increasing the sales of cat food out of proportion to the cat population. :D

Quote from piezoe:

I can't show anything, I'm only pointing out what those who can have concluded with regard to the effect of cuts on revenue.

This has been determined by those who have looked closely at this issue. In general, tax cuts have reduced revenue over what it would have been without the cuts. You keep repeating mindlessly that "revenues have increased after tax cuts." But what is your point? The revenue increases were not due to tax cuts. So why do you keep repeating this pointless remark as if the tax cuts had something to do with the revenue increases, when in fact the cuts reduced revenue to less than it would have been without the cuts!

If you are saying you can't prove tax cuts caused revenue to grow... there is no way you could say...

a. "In general, tax cuts have reduced revenue over what it would have been without the cuts." (complete horseshit.. those statements were made by slate based on fantasy models. If the tax cuts had not happened the larger economy and resulting increase in revenues may not have occurred.)

b. "The revenue increases were not due to tax cuts". (There is no way you can prove that. Why don't you use your own logic on this statement. )

Fact and logical conclusions.

Fact: After tax cuts revenue went up.

Logical conclusions-
1. therefore tax cuts stimulated the economy and tax revenues went up.

or

2. we are not sure about a the correlation: can't prove the tax cuts enlarged the economy causing tax revenue to grow... but we can't rule it out either.

Your statements are the type leftist non sequitors we are seeing more and more frequently.

Quote from Daxtrader:

Parasitic? The irony.

Now how about you list all the billion things I didn't want to pay for? Fucking sheep.

The things you didn't want to pay for don't matter. You lost at the polls. When you win at the polls, you won't have to pay for them.
You live in a republic. You don't like it? Move. Tax <> theft. It = who won. You lost. Live with it.

We should tax your ass 90%. What do you say to that? And we do not live in a republic dumbass. We're supposed to, but unfortunately we no longer do.

You can tax my ass at whatever rate you want. I'm not some fuckin' stupid loser like you; I can make enough to live no matter what the circumstances. That's what it means to be a winner, asshole.
As for that last idiotic statement, prove it. You make yourself look stupider every time you say something.
