The whole thing is laughable. There is no reason why the CME futures have to be in Chicago or the NYSE or NAZ in NJ/NY. Just consolidate them in the same building. If it were up to me, all these datacenters would be in the cheapest land imaginable, next to a massive waterfall for electricity. Niagara Falls?

Still, the article is interesting from a technology standpoint.
