High LDL Cholesterol Is Not A Health 'Problem' & Other Facts

Quote from killthesunshine:

Do you agree that what we eat plays a predominate role in our health and the health of our lipids?

i think you do otherwise you wouldn't bother to post this topic.

so how much saturated fat do we need to consume? we know how how much Vit A for optimum health, how much saturated and trans fat??

You say to not eat ANY meat. That is extreme reaction to saturated fat. Why did you come to that conclusion to eat no meat for optimum health?

Did I sat that :D

How much meat should we and why, in your opinion?

i agree. whaet and soy pale in comparison to potential damage from the big three.

BEEF, PORK, HAM (and Fowl!)

Here is what you say killthesunshine. But we are going away from the thread question of statins to lower LDL. To me it looks like this. No one has proved that high LDL (causes) heart disease. But they tell people to lower thier saturated fat from animal foods, to lower LDL. And they prescribe statins to do this on the premise of LDL is cause of heart attack. But cholesterol is good for the body.
I do not know how much meat is good to eat, but I would not say to not eat meat because of saturated fat, because everyone needs some saturated fat for health. That is proven.

saturated fat is NOT an essential nutrient.

Whole Foods!! Keifer is not very hard to make either. I've seen the culturing stuff for sale on the internet recently somewhere, you boil milk, put the culturing stuff in it and let it set overnight. Any milk probably works but the goat milk is better in some regards.. the stuff is addicting almost.. I guess once you have the cultured stuff you keep some for culturing the next batch.. my guess is that goats are range fed more than cows since goats are so useful for cleaning up weeds.....

yes, I buy it at Whole Foods....I also saw the culturing stuff for sale, but I thought it only works with unpasteurized raw milk?

the body makes all the sat fat it needs. not an essential nutrient.

so where is the proof we need to eat it.

don't direct me to a website, give me YOUR proof we need animal products for its sat fat content.

do you OWN the info or not?? you just playing with us :D
