High end watches sales continue to decline!!

for the g wagon, why didn’t you pay the 100k over sticker?

the waitlist must have shrunk.
I enquired about a 911 with a manual - they said 6 years (which meant it really would have been for my 10yo daughter). But you can buy them off the lot now.

no, msrp is my max.

i had a m3 manual back in the days, but a 911 turbo s silver is nice to have. my wife leased a taycan, i am ok with porsche. nyc speed limit is 25mph, enforced by cameras, what a waste.

I was joking about the ridiculousness of the premium on those cars.

when i lived in NYC, i had a 10yo burgundy ML500. However, there was lots of yellow paint on it from taxis scraping me. My brown blood makes me as aggressive as them driving in manhattan.

Who needs watch these days? Smartphone can not tell you time?
Most digital devices are designed to distract and destroy your mind there's no telling how much lost productivity has been because someone just wanted to know the time then looked at their phone and was bombarded by so much b******* they forgot that what they were even looking for in first place. There is indeed good cause for watches

i challenge op to find himself in his own city even an entry level (the cheapest) rolex or patek in stock, i bet he can not find it.

i am a big fan of rolex for decades. bought the latest iteration rolex op early last year and i was on the waitlist since the pandemic 2020 when everyone was asked to stay at home. my dealer finally got the one i wanted 18 months later, and i wasn’t even in front of the list, had to wait nearly a year more ...

The watches are hard to buy/find, not because the demand is so great, but because the manufacturer severely restricts the supply. If the manufacturers made as many of the items as they could, they know that the the scarcity value of the item would drop, and so would the price.

Best watch I ever bought is a Seiko Automatic which I bought from a little shop on Gate 2 Street in Koza, Okinawa, Japan, 50 years ago. Cost $27... still running just fine! :)
