HFT vs Small Traders

You have an obvious flaw in your comparison.
Your candidates (samples) are not equally weighted and therefore one comes out on Top.

Also, IF HFT strategy is effective - A $ amount such as 5000 should not be limiting factor. As always its all about percentages.

Its like "my D*ck is bigger than yours", ahem...but its all about how you use it !!

just like achilles28 said-not easy, but it's possible. most people are not committed and not patient enough. 99% of them are undercapitalized..
 
HFT is like a terrorist. It kills smakk trader.

But if small traders unite against HFT, then HFT can be destroyed.

In same way, USA and Pakistan united against Osama and our unity resulted in his finish!

have you look at the prints themselves before you make this assumption? i disagree with you. simply because any trader in his right mind have stops activated and triggered only during regular hours. everyone else is just plain dumb and will get what he deserved.
dumb bot just keep buying all the way up..you can be a seller as well.
looks like not all HFT's are created equal..some of them are pretty dumb. plenty of room for small guy..
 
Think about this. Let say a minor league baseball brooklyn cyclones (small traders) vs major league baseball yankees (HFT) playing each other, who will win.

Of course the Yankees will wiped the cyclones because the Yankees players are professional vs cyclones players amateurs. In other word, 99.99% sure the yankees will win against the cyclones.

What does the Yankees have that can beat the Cyclones? The Yankees have CAPITAL to hire pro baseball players. The Yankees are better equipped to train pro baseball players than the Cyclones and so on

Remember this small traders, u have no chance to win this game unless u join the house

More than 90% of small traders lose in a "Spectacular Fashion." They just lose!!!!
