don't want to take away from any of hft's future answers, but thought i could give you a real quick answer. hft trades for an hft firm, so the idea that they'd use non-hft technology like deltix, doesn't really make too much sense, but even if we were to assume they would consider a more hft-centric solution like redline, you would have to really wonder how competitive they are. think about it for a moment, in any industry, would you really outsource your primary ip? as far as cep, that's not going to happen in an hft execution engine. think non-portable, use/gateway-specific, with very low level processor intrinsics and highly tuned kernels and/or pure hardware solutions, vs any kind of an abstraction layer like cep.Quote from elitetradesman:
