A True Story

My friend gave voluntary retirement from an industrial job and received a big settlement amount with which he rented a small office and started trading in it on commodities.

One of his friends who was a driver occasionally join him and trade in same commodity sitting very next to my friend. Both have same setup (indicators) on screen. Both have same strategy.

But the driver makes profits comfortably while my friend struggled a lot to make profits.

Moral of the story?
You may think you are making profits just because of the strategy you learnt from somewhere or someone. In reality you are making profits because you are creative. In other words making money is an art.

Trading is a business.
Business is a blend of art and science.

concerning other traders?

Let's be honest, I doubt traders really give that much
time, thought and resources to what other traders are
doing. Each trader is trying to make money in the
markets.

Trading coaches might give such things consideration,
but time spent on why other traders do anything
is not productive and a waste of time.

Traders spend time on themselves, seeking to
improve and reach the next level.

by the majority of responses you get from
other traders?

I have never made a trade wondering
what the other side of my trade is thinking,
or whether or not he's using indicators,
trading bots, or voodoo..LOL
