The good news is there is already evidence that at least 1 elector is going to go rogue with his vote.

The bad news is, he is from the liberal state of Washington and won't cast a vote for Hillary.

The electoral college has worked exactly like the founders designed it to work in this election. It's like a case study in good governance.
They didn't want a really horrible candidate to be jammed into office and ruin the country by a couple of large states like California and New York. It was designed specifically so the rest of the country would be represented as well and get a candidate that would be good for the overall country.
