Hey, its election season

How about this article:
The Red-State Revolt Spreads to Oklahoma

So the Dems ran OK from 1907 to the 2000's and life was good. Then the black guy was elected president and OK decided to go White and ended up fiscally trashing the state, Kansas style. Is that about right? You people tried to fix something that wasn't broken?
Oklahoma's economy evolves around oil and natural gas. It took a huge hit back during the financial crisis when crude oil plunged from $147 to $35 a barrel. The state had a democratic governor at the time. The tax cuts compounded the problem. They didn't work in Kansas or Oklahoma.

A democratic presidential candidate hasn't won the State of Oklahoma since 1964. It hasn't really been a blue state for about half a century. I'm not sure you're getting the implied flip from blue to red out of racism from.

I was surprised when Stitt won, figured Cornett's success in OKC would carry him. But apparently his following didn't extend Statewide.

There's also that outsider vs politician mentality that might have played a factor.
I was surprised as well. I assumed Cornett would win based off name recognition alone. I actually hoped he would win because I wanted to see what he could do with the state. He's done a great job with Oklahoma City. I think opposing the wall and being slow to endorse Trump cost him. The "bull Stitt" commercials probably didn't help either.

One things for sure, we can only go up from where we are now. ;) I don't know anyone who likes Mary Fallin.
