hey HFT scum, yeah, you. Watch this

Quote from WinstonTJ:

I've asked you very directly in this thread - 5 times - with no answer from you. I'll make it 6 times....

To make things 'fair' how would you equalize delay of data from the pit to the furthest remote trader?
No answer 777?

Quote from risktaker:

How about increasing the SEC fees/tax just enough so that many of the 'games' are no longer profitable?
I'd be in favor of something like this (so we are on the same page) however this does not address the argument that "an equal delay" would solve the problem.

777 is avoiding this question becuase its not possible and its idiotic.

I also find it very ironic that the vast majority of people in this thread hating on HFT #1 don't fully understand it and #2 are the ones getting F*CK3D over by your retail broker internalizing order flow. You guys/gals complaining are the ones getting screwed because you choose to send your orders to the HFT bots - if you routed direct to an exchange (if everyone did) then there would be no more internalziation and "HFT screwing you over" as you know it.

wtj is so full of crap its coming out of his ears.

not suggesting you can make the delay the same for everyone.

saying that allowing a favored few to get a first look CONSISTENTLY after paying off the exchanges for the edge, is unfair.

its worse than the old pit scams.

Going to request a citation here. Exactly who is consistently getting a first look after paying off the exchanges?

damn, I overestimated the iq of the posters here, and you can be sure I wasn't expecting much

I overestimated your ability to deliver facts when facts are requested.

stock777 is the anti-fact.

When confronted with reality he spews vile, cut and paste kiddie crap or just plain rants like a dog baying at the moon.

Other than that he probably is a good natured all-around kind of guy. :)

I figure if we knew each other in real life, we could probably grab a beer together, just would not talk about trading.

dude, you asked a question that shows me you don't have the slightest clue of what we're even discussing.

show you proof of first look?

wtf do you think co location provides?

I feel like I'm talking to
