I have not personally used it because I haven't had a need for it, but based upon all I've learned about it and the experiences I've seen other people have with it, I can't think of a single downside that should prevent you from giving it a shot. And speaking of shots, I'm only referring to the injectable preparation.

"It's not really surprising that a drug that affects energy metabolism would have anti-aging effects independent of weight loss. Metformin has anti-aging effects independent of weight loss... Since diabetes accelerates aging, it would only make sense that a drug that controls it would at least indirectly slow accelerated aging. No?
