Yes, there is that. But among the working poor who have to hold down more than one job just to get by, taking the time to cook well-balanced meals gets edged out of the equation. And such meals are definitely more costly than something that just fills you up and gets you by. But, yeah, there are bad habits out there for which there is no excuse.
