We always have to remember....AOC, herself, is nothing.... just going along for the ride. She's the mouthpiece* for a political group who wants to wipe out all of Congress and replace them with "their" people. (Ambitious to say the least, but AOC is their "camel nose under the tent".)
*She isn't now nor ever was a political animal or opinion/force. She was selected from a casting call for her physical appeal and charisma to relay the desires/policies of her string-pullers... and I guess for her willingness to do/say what she was told.

Seems FOX News and GOP give AOC more press coverage and power than her own party. How many Democratic Leaders are pulling her in to make big decisions?

Yes in part- except it is not that simple.
The "adults" should include both party leaders in Congress and the ones running for Pres.
She does not have much ability to to get the party leadership and regular members to line up with her. But she has the ones running for President right by the balls and ovs. They are either busy lining up to support her, to get her support, or busy explaining and defending themselves against her. So Pelosi is right that she has influence with the twitterspere and not much in the house, but in regard to the prez campaign - she has plenty of influence- plenty.
That is what you say because the GOP and right is giving her so much air time to scare voters.

Right on this one. And people like Biden have to be careful not to get into a situation where he is punching down to AOC because democrats by and large don’t know who the hell AOC is, she’s fox News famous.
The situation is not unlike that Trump faced with Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell and other establishment republican sellouts. Pelosi answers to the big money, AOC only answers to Soros. AOC clearly is more reflective of dem voters than Pelosi and it's why she is so powerful. No one ever accused the dem base of being particularly bright or rational either. They are highly emotional and easily manipulated.
There is an easy test of this. Which candidate would prefer Pelosi's endorsement over AOC's?
