Present day elephants live about 70 years, the same lifespan of humans roughly speaking.
Mammoth elephants (prehistoric elephants) they claim lived about 40 years.
Noah lived about 950 years according to the bible.
Right, so elephants which have about the same lifespan as humans, for some stretch of the imagination had different lifespans from humans in Noahs day.

Now there's a reason to exagerate lifespans in the old testament, and here's the reason.

The geneology from Adam and Eve to Noah looks like this....

From Adam & Eve to Noah was about 9 generations.
Adam & Eve were the first created humans on Earth according to Genesis.
Noah was born about 3000BC and died about 2000BC according to scholars.
Adam & Eve were apparantly on earth about 5th to 6th BC according to Britannica.

According to WIKI, in the 6th millenium (6000BC), there were 40 million people world wide.

in the 7th millenium (earlier) there were 10 million people worldwide.
There were populations in Europe, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, Asia, Norway.
They say aboriginal Australian's were present 50,000 years ago.

So Adam & Eve were the first persons according to the bible while history claims there were millions of people on earth at that time.

Many many years ago, the church disbelieved in dinoraurs, they claimed it was a deliberate hoax, scam, put out by evil evolutionists to discredit God. This as the bible never mentioned dinosaurs. "Deconversion Syndrome" mentioned in the link or Exit syndrome are not super common terms, but refer to the psychological and emotional challenges faced by people leaving a (high-demand usually) religion they were raised in. There can be great difficulty in simply laying it aside after intellectual understanding makes it look ridiculous.
