Here's an excellent example of "Price TA".. support/resistance

LOL. This is the first one where someone is concerned that if I keep posting and everybody catches on... it will ruin it and make it stop working. Not much chance of that. :)

"Why is the obvious not so obvious"

The doubters don't have much money. It's the huge predators I'm anticipating......

Well, I'm not preaching anything novel. "Buy Support, Sell Resistance, Chase Breakouts" should be in any book on TA... Chapter 1, even.

I thoiught the opposite.

The more people looking for Support and Resistance or Trendlines, the better they are likely to work. Thus the more Threads Scat starts, the better off everyone is.

YES! Support/Resistance levels are partly reinforced by other players seeing and trading them... "monkey see, monkey do".

So... if THEY are doing that, so should we!

This simple chart ( no indicator, no trendline ) hides much information. so, maybe "cast stones" is reasonable.
yea i don't know about that.

of all the traders I have talked to...the ones with the least amount of lines and indicators had the largest net worth. An inverse correlation it seems.

The flip side is you can't run an engine without fuel, not matter how good its compression is.

Do you really thing the brains behind the buy programs fueling these patterns are going to just let a bunch of retail traderz take their money?

Maybe the successful ones using those tools are keeping their mouth shut. :)
