Here's an excellent example of "Price TA".. support/resistance

OK, so you apparently "got it". (Though the 100 pt range has zero to do with it.)

Not everyone on ET is astute as you... there are lots of others who "haven't got it yet" and might benefit.

I just said buy low, sell high and don’t fight the trend.

Thanks.

Chaper 1 in Price TA.. .not everybody gets is somehow.

It’s tough to get a solid bias and get a feel for what is high and low when the market (volatility and bias) seems to be constantly changing.

Especially on a small scale.

1 unit change is 10pts for me on the ES. It would be 50pts on the NQ. Anything below this unit is noise to me.

But again, the behavior of one market change over time.

We never step twice in the same river.

ps: Livermore, king of TA, was looking for a ~10% retracement before to take notice.

Today is strong "psycho-up"... A/D line is strong... players are all bulled-up. In spite of all this bullish emotion, sellers are turning back the market ~19530... a classic example of resistance, at least temporarily.

If this resistance level holds, it means something. If it breaks, it also means something.

FWIW...

Good Morning Scataphagos,

Thank you for sharing sir.

You miss the point entirely.
How many of these same ol' threads do you need to make in order for us not to miss the point? Surely you must have something more insightful than to post the same thing over and over.

Also you could have been more proactive and made this post at the time of third arrow. And yet you dragged your feet and waited another 15 minutes (yes, I actually counted those 10-second bars!!!) until you were absolutely certain the damn price dropped to MAKE YOUR POINT.

WTF???

We have a “market structure” which is a 100 pts range on NQ and we have a bullish bias.

It means buy near the bottom,
Sell some near the top,
Wait for breakout.

If it does breakout,
We might want to buy on pullback,
Not sure it’s gonna pb near the high of the range.

But why not if the leg is 2 or 3x the range.
Then use the range’s bottom as stop.
Hello Sekiyo,

What size bars are you trading on NQ and ES?

Thank you
