Here is why I am shorting QCOM..

Quote from Trend Fader:

No.. and I really dont care what anyone has to say... its just a trade.. anything can happen...

As far as I know.. I am already showing a profit thats locked in... and gonna ride it to wherever she goes....

I never watch financial news.. or listen to other opinions... its all between me and the market.. no one else.. and no other distractions..

Quote from Corso482:

Did you see the guy on CNBC yesterday talking about shorting QCOM? He was chief technical analyst for some company I'd never heard of. He basically said the same thing you did-- it's in a downtrend and didn't participate in the rally.

FWIW, that's what I thought a couple weeks ago about NVDA (mostly the non-participating part) :)

QCOM is one of the few stocks that has yet to be fully purged. Unlike so may high flyers that returned to 1999 price levels, and had those capitualtion days of high volume selling, QCOM has yet to be dumped by fund managers in unison.

Interesting how QCOM is really bucking the trend.. and continues to stay in the red the entire day...

Plus it's already trade 10 mill shares. Any lift is met with enormous supply.

QCOM is completely diverging from the nasdaq..

Should be interesting to see what happens to QCOM.. when(if) the nasdaq does indeed begin to rollover....
