APPL - beats on EPS - sorta mixed otherwise and trading virtually unchanged. In 10 seconds I'll be off by $10.

I thought about it - the implied vol was off that charts though. Couldn't bring myself to pay $6500 for an OTM call option on a stock that has gone parabolic for months. Just felt too risky.

There maybe other methods to "ease" into a long position with AMZN calls without paying so much and reduced theta loss. Have you explored ratio backspreads or a call calendar? Last quarter a mix of backspreads and closing the short calls during minor pullbacks worked well.
