Help with tax filing

so I left Assent(New Jersey) in 6/10 and currently with Avatar(NYC). I trade remotely in Virginia. So do I file taxes for fed and Va only? or fed, va, nj, and ny? thx ahead.
 
I'm no tax expert but living in NY and dealing with taxes here I would be absolutely shocked if NY and NYC didn't "wet their beak" in this scenario.
 
pretty sure that if you live in VA and only work in VA you only pay VA and fed taxes, if you went into NY every you would pay all 3, that is my case...but don't take my word for it.

You're probably right.....also what I thought.......confusion came when my CPA in the past always filed for all the states and didn't know wtf he was doing.....
