Help on learning index futures

I am going to start learning the market of index futures. Could anyone recommend a good simulator for trading futures ? How to get real time streaming quotes and charts for index futures without spending too much ?

NINJA Trader has a good sim.
How long have you been trading ?
what do you use now as far as charts go ?
what setups ?

Do I have to pay $50/month to use their sim ?
I stopped trading 4 years ago, before that traded for about 4 years full time making moderate income

No they have it for free, you only pay 50 bucks if you want to automate a strategy

Open ECry has a nice sim as well. You get a 2 week trial for free but you can request an extension if need be.
