Help needed - I overtrade after 11am

I love trading as well, but I love winning even better. As I have matured as a trader, my hours have been reduced. I am usually done by noon. This process only took like 23 years, and it was really in the last 8 years where I kept optimizing it (think Pareto's Law).

I do a lot of adventure sports, but these require traveling, planning, etc. My BASE Jumping Instructor/Mentor, and good friend since 2003, just killed himself:

So I have been dealing with the aftermath, and his wife (now widow). She has introduced me to Onewheel, and I will be checking out an event this weekend, and getting one as well in a few weeks. It basically provides me an outlet, that I can do on a daily basis, without the requirements of an adventure (scuba-diving with sharks, BASE Jumping, skydiving, flying planes, kiteboarding, etc.).

Sorry about your friend, but is killing himself the right phrasing? That usually indicates suicide. I suspect most adventure seekers know and accept that death is a possible outcome and I wouldn't say he killed himself, but I am not a pro.
I am now basically wrapping up things by 12:00pm. I have an alarm at 11:15am, that let's me know to be aware of how I am performing. And a final alarm at 12:30pm. Trading until 4:00pm was simply not adding to the bottom line (I genuinely have about 3 hours of fresh focus), and I am now concentrating on quality of life issues, since I am not immortal anymore, and my life is coming to an end, eventually. Every hour counts, and the afternoon was just not for me. It takes MANY years to get to this point, and I finally got there. GET A ONEWHEEL (see above)...
But if you are in your 20s, go crazy, trade every instrument under the sun, 24 hours a day. I already went through that. Why watch the same movie, over and over again?
Excellent point. In BASE jumping, we call it "going in". Jimmy went in, and now he is flying free.
Trust me, this was NOT a suicide. Dude was a rockstar, and frankly, I am just in awe to have been his friend...
Def sounds like a rock star. What's the ratio of people who die doing what your friend did and hang gliding? Because I want to go hang gliding.

Hang gliding seems all right. I know one death, and one person paralyzed from it. But from the BASE Jumping community, I know a LOT more casualties. I just would not get the same rush from hang gliding, not even close. I know this from former BASE Jumpers who are now into it. It's a "relaxing" activity compared to BASE.
