HELP!! Is there a alternitive to No-Signal? (e-signal)

The futures update in real time... every tick.. the Indexes update every six seconds...

$INDU updates every 2 seconds I think. Whatever, the data for these symbols is not slowing to a crawl as those posting
here are claiming for stock data.

Has anyone tried this? Does this actualy speed up esignal during peak volume?

There were few situations today when the price was very volatile on DAX, esignal feed in Ninja was correct to a tic when compared to X-Trader that I use for trade execution.

Also futures data... i have been complaining about freezes in futures data for 2.5 years...

Do you mind plugging the feed into Ninja and reporting back here. It is free to perform this test.

Thanks

Yep. had the same problem. Esignal kept freezing up on a volume spikes.

Again, volume+esignal= garbage product.

A couple of years ago I tried E-Signal and my office was essentially 25 miles as the Crow flies from their headquarters.

I was suffering from SPX cash and futures quotes "freezing" consecutively on my Windows XP platform via broadband cable.

One quote would "freeze" about 5 minutes into trading, and then out of nowhere, the other quote would "freeze" a couple of minutes later. ( this was occurring during "normal" market conditions; not fast-market conditions ).

I must have spent 15 hours trying to troubleshoot this during a little over a week's time. The techs at E-Signal were not very helpful. Nice guys, but they were not able to fix the problem.

I spent an awful lot of time "diagnosing" this issue for THEM, but they were of no help.

Never again.

Hi Red Duke,

I always appreciate your posts... most informative and well written..

and...

I believe you when you say that NT does not have a lag...

but...

1. I don't use esignal feed since i quit them two years ago due to the same problem others are complaining about...

2. If i did still use the eSig feed with NT I would have to subscribe to NT at about $50 a month(??) to be OK for Volume and price bursts with eSig to be where I should be if eSig would only do the right thing and build their own software correctly... as in pay an extra $$ each month for a 3rd party product... on top of the eSig overpriced costs...

and its important to know...

3. That NT (like all 3rd Party software) paid eSig $2500 so they can use eSig's advanced API to DIRECTLY connect to the eSig Real Time server (for each user of their product that is using it with the eSig data feed) which is very different than using the eSig advanced charting package that one subscribes too each month.

4. So i think it would be wise to compare apples to apples and not bring in any pears...

thanks...

My post actually meant that I had no issues. Everythingmatched to a tic/second.

It Matched using Ninja Trader??... or it matched when you were using their Advanced Charting Package...

2. Nope it is totally free for charting and demo trading. You only need to pay if you want to place live trades via it.

3. That must be why I do not experience delays. Which means people should try to make this switch, since it costs less. Pay less to esignal since you only need feed and Ninja is free.
