I bought 100 shares today...$219.89 I then did a covered call for July 23 $230. I got $12.70 ($1,270.) for the option.

I like that they are around the world. People look for quality when it comes to medical devices...Not throw away junk.

It's a high price, but their earnings came out OK. I'm also picking up the boring dividend...

Do you average in with covered puts when stock dips? Or is this a one time purchase?

One time...May do another covered call when it expires.

My wife and I have about a limit of $25,000. in any one stock. It use to be $10,000. then grew to $20,000. We try and stay diversified as much as possible...
