Help: European index futures

Now i am trading FOREX, ES/NQ/YM/ER2,GOLD,CL etc.

But I am also interested in FTSE, DAX,CAC. Just dont know where to start.

Questions:
What symbols in IB? How is the liquidity comparing with ES,NQ,YM,ER2?
Is the data free?

The DAX futures don't even trade 10% of the contracts that ES trades. The DAX is not for the faint of heart as it can make some suprisingly fast moves.

European data is not free, look at IB's market data fees page for Europe. For example, EUREX Level II (DAX and more) is 12 Euro a month.

For IB's symbols look on the futures margin page.

Why not looking at eurostoxx 50 on eurex. + 1 mil contracts per day

Large failure % for people trying to trade the Dax.

CAC has goodish volume.
