It is based on my personal experience, so it can be different for somebody else.
But maybe I am as satisfied with this data, as someone else who buys expensive data.

Tradestation/MC is for system development and backtesting, not the best for real-time trading. Think open source code with broker API for real-time execution.
I want to backtest my algo but I need a few years of tick-level data that has been scrubbed for "bad ticks". Looking for Emini gold, oil, NQ, ES, and Dow futures. Must always be front-month contract data. There are theoretically two possibilities:
Why people pay 2-3 times more for a Lamborghini then for a Porsche? Does the Porsche give you 2-3 time more value for money? Or is the Lambo 2-3 times more worth then the Porsche?
- data is valuable and people want to pay for it
- data is not valuable but idiots want to pay for it

You're kidding, right ? The CME doesn't do this internally ? Omigosh, they are just so bad...In real trading, your algo will be facing unscrubbed data, so you might want to model that.
Interesting. Was he trading Forex or ????For example, I am aware of an extremely busy medical doctor who learned to autotrade at night after work.
