funny thing is that its going to be true the other way around in the near future. mutual funds will set up their own in house hedge funds to stop the bleeding of the talent to HFs
 
For the average of their returns, "hedge funds becoming more like mutual funds"? Probably yes.

For the range of their returns among funds, I wouldn't think so. :confused:
