Hedge fund experience

I am wondering if anyone here has experience working for a hedge fund. I have the following questions :

1) What qualifications do they look for when they hire someone for a trading position ?

2) Does the personal trading record help if it is exceptional ?

3) How do you go about getting a job in a hedge fund without any experience in the industry ?

depends. not all hedge funds do the same thing

sure. but not if your trading acct is small amount

offer something they need. what can you bring to the table? not all hedge funds do the same thing
