Hedge Fund Book

Quote from SiSePuede!:

Oh yeah! That was a fucking hilarious line...haha, thanks for resurfacing that idiotic post. I wonder if he shrugs off being down 30% as nothing too. :D

Yeah...a 50k day is NOTHING to this ass clown. But when on tv he whined an cried about losing 4k or so.

Wonder what his next career move will be after his career as a "writer" goes up in flames as well.

hey tim

ghostzapper is willing to bet 100k that you were not at sac's. perhaps you should take the wager to shut him up permanently..... not to mention for an interesting story for future use......

surf
You'll never shut me up permanently b/c I have truth on my side.

If you really want comedy go look on his thread....he has been calling for a death spiral in the mkt the whole way up it seems.
So, like I said on your thread, staying short like you have been is a losers game. And so that fits you well. You never answered my question about how many times you were featured in financial periodicals oh great "surf"...still waiting.

Who knows...his exploits are blowing up on him like his trades. :D

Quote from TimothySykes:

I go away for a few days and this entire board turns to complete shit. Wow. OK, let me just set the record straight:

2. I am cocky because I've had tons of success at an early age and I know I have a bright future, whether it be trading, writing, or really anything else. Trading has given me lifelong confidence so I think everybody should trade because if you make money you're richer and if you lose, you're wiser. Either way you've benefited and learned some great lessons.

Cocky because of success.. lol.. When you are conciously aware of your own cockiness and attribute it to success, obviously you've learned absolutely nothing about life. Most people confuse self confidence with grandiousity. Grandiouse people are some of the worst people to be around. They have an unreal expectation of themselves and everyone around them. Self-confidence is merely knowing that you will most certainly put for your best effort.

When you have to give off a cocky aura, you are trying to impress people. Caring what people think all the time and going out of your way to impress people is a sign of mediocrity.

It may very well be the truth that you have a great deal of knowledge about trading and are turning a consistant profit, however, since you act like you khow everything, then that is all you will ever know, and that's sad, because if you don't know how to talk to people, you don't know anything. Good news for you, I know you're smarter than what you put yourself out to be on here.

You have no need to be 'cocky.' Documentation beats conversation. Let it be so...

The closest marketsmurfer has been to being featured in a periodical is maybe..and this is a reach....is a bazooka joe comic. And even that is a reach.

It's obvious what he is doing.....he is trying to get as much publicity/stir things up as much as he can before his comic book comes out. I am sure a bunch of lambs will buy the book.

Yes....some great material on here. I guess we do owe Timmay a thanks for starting it.....I am not sure it is working out the way he wanted it to though.

Forgive me, but I think you guys need to get a grip. It's not as though he robbed you. He's just harmlessly promoting himself and his book. He is selling you an account of his experiences, for better or worse. Buy it or don't. If your experiences are more valuable then by all means write a book and I'll buy it and read it. He is not selling you promises or expensive courses. Speaking of which...

If you want to take umbrage and vent some frustration, then consider uncovering the murky circumstances surrounding Larry Williams's contest win a couple of decades ago and his money management record that followed. That the guy still has a following because of that contest despite the events that followed leaves me shaking my head. Meanwhile, there are so many people here who eat it up.

I think some of you guys should better focus your hostility.
