Hedge Fund Book

Quote from TimothySykes:

Wow, many, many years of outperformance and then one little drawdown and all of a sudden I've lost most of my money?

Maybe you really should write my book, you seem to know more about my financial situation than I do.

Please, please ghostwrite my book for me, you've already gone over 1,000 posts here so you obviously have nothing better to do!

I have other things to do, but I have a lot of free time because I don't pretend to be a hedge fund manager, don't go around trying to raise funds I never get, and invest mostly for the long term.

Outperformance of what? One little drawdown?

Post the excerpt from your book about CYGT...I'll be waiting. This should be juicy. :D

Oh it is juicy and that's why you're gonna need $19.95 to hear about it!

I already know all about it. :D

Why don't you share it with everyone else here so they can understand what a putz you are? :D

Hey Tim did you ever go out with that blonde from WSW. You know the one you talked with in regards to getting money. She seemed to dig you a little.

Here is a picture I took @ the party.

OK, I'll speak slowly and E-NUN-CI-ATE this time. Quality books on technical aspects of trading are expensive regardless of publisher. Again, have a look around the Wilmott bookshop http://books.global-investor.com/pages/home.htm and you'll notice many books with list prices in the $hundreds. If you want to pay $20, buy a for-idi0ts book from http://tinyurl.com/22pevx .. . or the latest from Jack Welch.. . (or buy a cookbook).. .

Uh isnt that the point. First you say there are plenty of Wiley hardcover books for $20 when I was talking about how Wiley hardcover trading books are expensive at $80 and up. Remember Tim and I were talking about trading/investing division. I said you were not listing trading books but non-trading books so that was off the subject.

Now you come back and confirm what I original said that trading book are expensive at Wiley, and even add everywhere regardless of the publisher. You basically agree with me lol.

Remember I said this originally when I was telling Tim what the retail and wholesale cost of his book would be at Wiley if he did a hardcover book.

Got to keep up....

BTW, went to a sweet fundraiser at Stevie Cohen's house last night--wish you all could've been there........it was niiiiiiiiiiice

Hi Tim, very interesting thread. Good luck w the book.

I read that you pride yourself on being very honest. Well you say you went to Stevie Cohen's house. Wow, that's great ! There is a single item in his entrance hall that anyone entering the house would immediately notice as it is a well known piece of work. Can you please tell us what that is ? I know the answer, and I just want to make sure what you're saying is truthful before I buy your book.

Thank you.

ps it isn't the animal in the post above. I'm referring to his entrance hall, its staring you in the face as you enter his home.

Haha, the fundraiser wasn't inside his house, it was in a huge tent on his lawn. Just saw the magnificent house from the outside. Sorry buddy--
