Thanks for the link. I subscribe to MAR and Barclay and see no listing for Cilantro.

Well you're either looking in the wrong place or you're an even bigger idiot than I thought you were. Cilantro was the #1 Ranked Short Bias Fund from 2003-2006 by Barclay!

Yes, 1 fund listed under short bias. There is a possibility there were more funds in the category during the period mentioned, but I don't have the trailing data. I'd expect not, however.

Actually there are 12 funds in the category, the reason being most people avoid shorting because they always lose money.

I'm sorry that I've had to ask that your posts with the graphics be deleted, but you've copied info from a website restricted to accredited investors and its not appropriate for ET. Don't do it again or ET will have to delete your account.

 There are 20 listed. I got two different datasets. I apologize to Tim for stating there was only one fund. I mistakenly had arbitrage toggled as well; don't know how it happened.

Barclay's is not restricted to accredited investors. Or if so, they make absolutely zero effort to confirm that someone is accredited. Heck, they don't even verify identity. It took me a couple of tries to remember which dummy email address I used to register with them in the first place :)

I don't know anything about hedge fund advertising restrictions. But I do know that Barclay's is publicly accessible information. Trying to keep people from viewing Cilantro fund performance is a losing cause. And the effort only makes it look like you're trying to hide Cilantro's results.

you've copied info from a website restricted to accredited investors and its not appropriate for ET.

Enough said. Time to move on.

I didn't realize it was that easy. I report to MAR and Barclay as well and just opened another account, which required all of 30 seconds.

Tim sent me his 2003-2006 short bias ranking. He was the only fund in the top-ten with a +return.

I believe there were twelve funds in the category during the 2003-2006 reference-period. The pdf he sent only lists the top-ten.

Yeah, only one in the top-twelve earned a dollar.
