It is typical of you to totally misconstrue something. No, you will not be banned for "posting the statements of science orgs about AGW". After receiving a number of complaints on July 28, 2014 you were warned about making duplicate posts. Then after more complaints on Sept 24, 2014 you were warned again, this time about repeated posts of the "1000 years of change" graph. Then on Nov 12, 2014 you were warned again about further posts of the "1000 years of change" graph along with duplicate posts of the composite Sandy Hook children.

So thank you for making this public and reminding me of all the warnings. You are not being banned for posting AGW info, but you are now banned for 1 week for ignoring repeated warnings about endlessly duplicating your posts. If you return and continue this action your next ban will be permanent.

Though one should realize that there's really no point in repeating graphs and charts even once. These people aren't going to change their minds about AGW any more than they are going to change their minds about the heavens and the earth being created in a week, or that cavemen rode dinosaurs bareback.

Let me go on the record stating that I only post each cartoon only once. I do not post the same cartoon or chart hundreds of times.

The sole exception to this may be the 97% parrot cartoon which appeared multiple times to mock futurecurrent's making the same exact 97% assertion several hundred times.

I support the concept that futurecurrents should continue posting on ET in the future, but there needs to be some control over posting the same content over & over again. As outlined by the moderators, this is not about trying to hush up a particular opinion, but about attempting modify behavior to be appropriate on this forum.

I may disagree with futurecurrents on AGW, but I will admit when he posts something new (rather than recycled) I will read it.... and politely respond with my alternative points when appropriate. I do hope he shows up in the future and does not continually re-post earlier information but only posts new AGW material so the P&R community can have a vigorous and civil debate on its merits.

Ah I forget.The wooly pious hypocrisy of the religious. Something is deemed sinful or bad enough to be given up for 40 days , should surely be abstained from permanently. At least that would appear to be a more honest way of going about things. Jem's posts are certainly bad, not to mention repetitive enough to fit that bill
