Health care is like a house?

Quote from OPTIONAL777:

There are flaws everywhere; are you under the illusion that there are no flaws in the private sector?

There are an extraordinary amount of flaws of the system we have now. That said, its the best in the world.

Do you honestly believe the government can do a better job and lower the costs?

Quote from Mnphats:

Are you seriously brain dead?

He is pointing out the so many flaws in government run health care.

Government run health care = rationing.

BINGO it is all about supply and demand, you add 45 million new patients you dont think it is gonna screw up all the people's healthcare who have worked hard and paid into it their whole life? When 45 million people now need doctors, how does that limit a doctors time?

How bout when the government decides to set limits on Doctors pay, which is true in Canada, where do you think the good ones go?

Anyways im sorry i even stepped into this argument.....

Quote from OPTIONAL777:

So you support government health care paid for by taxes...
He supports a military paid for by taxes, incl healthcare, it`s not unusual for employers to offer a healthplan for their employees.

Quote from OPTIONAL777:

Of course Limbaugh's ideas of comparing health care to a house are disgusting...
Both health care and a homes/houses are products/services people produce/provide in return for money/compensation.

Quote from OPTIONAL777:

Limbaugh compared health care to a house, so your dying parents who could not afford private no waiting health care are the equivalent of those who cannot afford to buy a home...if you are paying attention to what Limbaugh said...

What is amazing to me is that you don't find the flaw in Limbaugh's reasoning...

Limbaugh's position is the poor should just die and not get health care...

p.s. Pretty hard to attack dead parents...you loss may have been tragic, but what is even more tragic is that you are not trying to right the wrong by supporting health care for all Americans...
We`re 6 800 000 000/there are 310 000 000 americans, are there no limits to what people can have/get, are there enough resources for everyone?

Quote from OPTIONAL777:

You make it sound as if government run health could never provide proper health care...

Rather than trying to champion better health care provided by the government, you just want to eliminate all government health care so even more people are going to die when they don't need to?

Do you know that government run NASA put a man on the moon, that government run military won WWII?

So government (which is really just a bunch of Americans) can get things done if they are sufficiently motivated...

Sorry, I don't see the sense at all in your reasoning, and I am sorry one of your parents is dying...
Is the military/NASA efficient, i.e. are there enough resources to give everyone, everything, when it comes to health care?

Quote from OPTIONAL777:

Watch the video, he compared health care to a house...indicating those who could not afford a house would have to get a bungalow...

Which if you need translation means those who cannot afford health care will just have to die...
Can each of the 6 800 000 000 in the world/310 000 000 in the US have their own house, or will some of them have to settle for less/bungalow, i.e. are there enough resources, can everyone be saved?

It would be great if everyone had everything, but is it possible.

Private sector is based on voluntaryism/competition, government sector is based on putting a gun to your head/monopoly.
