These guys cannot get out of the news. How big of a player is Platts? NYMEX came out and vouched for LEH later in the day. The shorts are really blitzing from all angles.

The ride has been as wild as the cyclone at CONEY ISLAND.
Albeit most of today;s rally was Fed inspired, these guys are def supporting their own stock. I'm sure as soon as LEH dipped sub 20 today, LEH loaded up on some more. (currently 30% employee owned) may end up being 35% to 40% by year end)
The ppl at leh are just as educated and talented as the next guy..I just can't understand what took them soo long to adapt to the environment. is GS that much better?
They've been able to manage most of the rumors and negativity that has come their way and it looks like they are prepared to do so from here on in.
Only way to put this to bed is with solid results next qtr..

There is no bottom here. It's really looking like a BSC situation, and Lehman would have probably already went under if Paulson and Bernanke hadn't had a fire drill with BSC and were already on alert and ready to intervene immediately.
