2M is not the number.I`d say about 75% of the population of our Planet nowadays are hookers.So it account for 5Bln roughly.5Bln devided in 153 countries is equal to ~32M.So 32M hookers in each country:D
 
Many of the great cities of the world were built up in the past with the proceeds of prostitution. London's Bayswater Road was the centre of madams and their speciality acts until the prim and proper Victorians did a purge against them.

Banning things like sex-for-sale, alchohol, drugs etc. is trying to swim against the current. The politicians haven't learnt from the past.

Actually they were not built on the proceeds of prostitution BUT of slavery - aka free labor.

Did you know it is illegal for 2 working girls to share a flat in the UK ? Ridiculous laws like this one lower the law's cred considerably. If anyone gets any pleasure in this hard life - the sodding politicians tax it or make stooopid laws to restrict it. While they live the high life !

The UK must be one of the most miserable countries on the planet. Don't be surprised political idiots if the Scots walk out next month, followed by the Welsh. Is America a happy country ? The Ferguson riots would indicate a NO !!

As for the now respectable Bayswater Road, a diary was found a few years ago which listed nearly every address as a brothel and interestingly enough their specialised sex acts.
