Yes, he helped me. Directly through interaction? No. Did it take 6 months, an open mind, and a ton of work/research on my own part? Yes.

Like he said, he's just the translator for Wyckoff's material. Am I going to sit here and try to convince you Wyckoff's 100-year-old stuff still works? No. My trading account keeps me pretty secure in that fact.

It's like some people on here want to bash others to make themselves feel better about failing (and spend an inordinate amount of time doing so). Since they failed, then SURELY no one else could have succeeded! Anything to help them feel secure in the "fact" that it's all a bunch of BS and impossible to take advantage of... Hence, justifying their failure to their oh-so-sensitive ego..............

By "DB Method", I'm assuming you mean SLA. It was backtested by a member in one thread who I believe essentially implemented it mechanically, can't remember which, and it provided a positive expectancy over time. However, to make the serious money with it and to really grasp an understanding of price movement, you need to combine it with Auction Market Theory (AMT).

Think of it more as DB "leading the horse to water". He can bring you pretty darn close to the watering hole, but its up to you to drink. I believe DB said himself that SLA was the "training wheels" to help struggling traders.

It can be back tested. I don't think it can be mechanically implemented as one needs to understand the behavior and for that some screen time is needed. Maybe some advanced programmer can figure it out but I would say it is not mechanical. The pure SLA can be mechanically implemented but to make money concepts of trading range and trend channel also need to be part of the system.

Keep in mind back in some ET wars last year, DB was caught lying...... bragging and taking credit for a trade call that he never made. Then he claimed some absurd performance stats like 90% winners and 10:1 R/R in daytrading NQ......

Then he was trying to get one of his critics to bet money on one of his students performance. So ET user Downpruf challenges DB to a trading competition where they make a bet with the winner taking all..... and DB suddenly was not interested in betting anymore..... and ran away..... LOL!!!

Even yesterday he was caught again when he scolded his favourite pupil to pick on..... KP. He tells KP that he spent hours going over entries with him in chat. Then KP responds that he never went over any entries in chat, and that there were multiple messages in chat to not discuss entries or make any trade calls. LOL!
