In the sex-based-rights movement, the phrase “peak trans” is used to describe an event that prompts a person to reject transgender ideology. For some, their “peak trans” moment was seeing Lia (formerly Will) Thomas competing in the NCAA women’s swimming championship.

If the vision of a 6’3’’ male in a bathing suit towering over females wasn’t enough, the testimony from his female competitors surely was. Riley Gaines, who tied for fifth with Thomas in the NCAA 200-meter, shared the story of how her trophy was given to Thomas, while an official explained that hers would be coming later in the mail. Other female athletes spoke out, initially under anonymity, about how uncomfortable they felt being forced to share a changing room with a male and how their coaches and schools commanded them to stay silent.

This is not only absurd, but obviously and egregiously unfair. Recent polling from Gallup indicates that “a larger majority of Americans now (69%) than in 2021 (62%) say transgender athletes should only be allowed to compete on sports teams that conform with their birth gender.”

The whole thing is sickening. Every time I go to msn.com to check my email I get tons of these idiotic stories on the front page dedicated to how wonderful this trans thing is. These liberals love it here at ET, especially that ex-GOP dude. I believe Cuddles loves it also.

The disaster is still growing.

Not a problem though. Do what you gotta do. If you want to alienate the millions and millions of loyal normal-people in your customer base to be on the good side of some freaks, go for it. Double or triple down if you have to.

Glass bottling plants forced to shut down, leaving 600 employees jobless amid Bud Light controversy

Aglass bottling company impacted by Bud Light’s botched promotion with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney will close down two of its locations, laying off more than 600 employees as the beer brand continues to grapple with staggering financial losses and declining sales.

The Ardagh Group, a global glass producer who contracts with the Anheuser-Busch company, announced that they will be closing their plants in North Carolina and Louisiana in July, putting roughly 645 employees out of a job, WRAL reported.

The bottling company did not reveal the reason for the move, but an investigation by WRAL reportedly found that the plants are shuttering because of tanking Bud Light sales, as retailers, distributors, bars, and contracted companies feel the wrath of nationwide boycotts over the controversial Bud Light partnership that celebrated Mulvaney’s “365 Days of Girlhood.”

Forty percent of Brown University students say they are LGBT, suggesting social contagion

New survey data from Brown University’s student newspaper provides further evidence that the increase in LGBT identification is driven by social pressures.

The latest data show that between 2010 and 2023, identification as LGBTQ+ has almost tripled among the student body at Brown (from 14% in 2010 saying they were not heterosexual to 38% now). "The Herald’s Spring 2023 poll found that 38% of students do not identify as straight — over five times the national rate," The Brown Daily Herald reported. "Over the past decade, LGBTQ+ identification has increased across the nation, with especially sharp growth at Brown."
