Have you noticed the price of ammo lately?

I reload .45ACP - if you’re at desperation level hit me up.
I'm not quite a desperation level yet, but if that happens at some point, I will definitely reach out. Thanks!

We have guns everywhere here in Florida. And we even have big hunting/fishing retailers like Bass Pro Shops. One of my friends went to Bass Pro Shop the other day and they didn't have a single round. The clerk told my friend that hundreds of people line up outside the store on ammo delivery day and it's "literally all sold within an hour".
Sounds like preppers hoarding.

same situation here in AZ. I've been hanging on to the same batch of 9mm and 5.56 for ever... I'm dying to get to the range but don't want to blow through what I have as I'm not sure when/if I can restock.

At least my guns are clean, really clean...

And yet, somehow, I have managed to survive thus far without a gun and the requisite buttload of ammo. Shocking. :D

LOL... I actually got a good chuckle out of that. Prob for some of us "guns" are just an "always been that way" thing. I grew up on a huge farm, close to a town where everyone had a rifle in the rear window of their pick-up truck. I don't think I've ever not owned a gun since I was 12.

I grew up in the South and was given a .22 rifle for Christmas by my parents when I was 12 years old. Rite of passage. And with that rifle came responsibility. Of course, my Father kept the ammo under lock and key but owning that rifle was a serious matter and it bestowed an expectation of safety and maturity.
