You can't improve your situation your going down hill by the moment :(

We can always try, and in the mean time, just enjoy what we have before they are gone.

Just your ability to write that sentence alone tells me that it may be a perception issue. Sure there are times when things are lining up the wrong way, but "will always suck" sounds predeterminite on your part. Just look around you. Un-suck yourself.

... and yes I do make up my own words.

Quote from CaptainObvious:

People seem to think that defying death or travel to exotic places will bring purpose and meaning to their life. It will shape you, but leave you empty in the end. Like Hemmingway, you'll end up with a shotgun in your mouth. Problem is, today's purpose is tomorrows mundane task. So when asked have I lived, or am I just living, I have to ask, relative to what? Your life? Some adolesent fantasy? Someone else's idea of what life is?
Here's what I've found in my nearly six decades of sucking air. If you're doing it alone, you're missing the point of it all. Nothing more, nothing less.

Agree 100%

Not even I would attempt this............

Quote from killthesunshine:

If you are doing what alone? are you saying finding a mate is most important

i'm not an antelope , i need a bit more than that dude :D

A "mate" is just part of the equation. Shared experience with your fellows is just as important. Success that goes unshared begins to ring hollow, failures and defeat become larger than life if endured alone. We are social beings and need to explore and expand that aspect of our lives as we go down the road of life. What's really rewarding is during those rare times when you know you have helped another with their achievements, overcome obstacles, and receive nothing more than just seeing it happen. To know that you were there when a friend just needed a friend. There is no better high.

if you weren't successful or improved yourself where you are attractive to the opposite sex, of course you haven't lived..

Women is 50% of happiness, work on it,
Money is 50% of happiness , work on it

thats 100%

Quote from Pension_Admin:

Well, I pretty much given up in making my parents proud of me. I know I could never meet their ever rising expectation.

What I do is spend more time with them, and keep my mouth shut. Especially when they are venting about their lives; I'd just stare sincerely into their eyes and nod no matter how many times they have told me about it before.

PA

Awesome :D you've inspired me.

no..

health is 50% of happiness
money is the other 50%,

for if you have money, you can buy women. but money doesn't always buy health.
