gambling for a living is about the only thing that can compare. (speaking in terms of people who only trade for themselves), The difference between trading and other forms of business is that there is no external feedback...its you and only you. If you work somewhere you have a boss/manager who lets you know if you are f*cking up...if you own a business then the customer is there to let you know if performance is lacking. In trading that whole aspect is removed and you are all alone...bag holding like a fat cat telling yourself they will come back if you just hold a little bit longer.
